St Peter’s is able to draw on an endowment fund to cover part of the cost of the development project and in October 2014 we launched the Moving Onwards Together appeal to add to the funds. Now we need to make the final push so that we can getting the work started. There are several ways in which you can make a donation:
Outright gifts and Gift Aid
Cash gifts are the most useful way of supporting the project, with the addition of Gift Aid where possible. If you are a UK tax-payer, we receive an additional 25p for every £1 you donate. Higher rate tax-payers can reclaim higher rate relief on their donations. The easiest way to do this is through our JustGiving page – click on the button to go straight there.
If your employer operates a ‘payroll giving’ scheme, you can make donations to charity direct from your pay packet. It’s a simple way to give and you get tax relief on your gifts.
You may prefer to give a lump sum or alternatively you could pledge to give a regular amount weekly, monthly or quarterly over a fixed period. This can also be Gift Aided and you can do it via JustGiving too.
Please be assured that confidentiality is of paramount importance. Only the church Treasurer and Parish Administrator will know how much each individual has donated.
